EMERGENCY PROCDURES

If your child has a dental emergency please call our office and we will see your child as soon as possible. These are some useful tips to help your child with discomfort until he/she can be seen:

Tooth Ache
First, rinse the irritated area with warm salt water and place a cold compress on the face if it is swollen. Give the child acetaminophen for any pain.

Knocked-Out Tooth
If a permanent tooth is knocked out, gently rinse with water. Do not scrub the tooth. If possible insert the tooth back into the socket. If this cannot be done then place the tooth in a cup of milk. Call the dentist immediately.

After Hours Emergency Contact Number
If you have an immediate emergency, please call us at 704-971-7272 and leave a message. Someone will return your call as soon as possible.
