Why a Pediatric Dentist?

Pediatric dentists are specialists dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through adolescence, including those with special health needs. Dr. McEachern provides expertise in a variety of areas including hygiene, restoration and growth and development.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends the first dental visit occur after the first tooth erupts. This is between 6-12 months. This first visit allows Dr. McEachern to discuss oral hygiene, diet, finger and pacifier habits with the parents. This visit also establishes a “dental home” for your child. A “dental home” is a place where you and your child can receive the latest information on oral care and gives you a place to go in case of a dental emergency.

Our goal is to give your child an enjoyable dental experience and help create a positive attitude towards dentistry. We provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere where your child can come and receive excellent dental treatment in an exciting environment. Smiles and laughter are the norm.
